Question: Will the Peak 150 watt portable power inverter work with the Peak portable 300 AMP Jump Starter?

I plan to plug a laptop to the power inverter and the power inverter will be plugged in to the Jump Starter instead of the car cigarette lighter socket.
 

Seems like a couple extra layers to me...is there a reason you can't just plug the laptop into the lighter socket? For that matter, the laptop has batteries so it shouldn't have to be plugged into anything - unless you're on the computer for hours at a time, can't you just recharge it when you get home?
